We at eBerry (part of Nordic Choice Hotels, soon to be Strawberry) are focusing on the digital guest experience for our guests. To be able to deliver a world class experience we are now looking for our New Business Area & Implementation Manager. Here you will focus on expanding and building our portfolio/roadmap to be able to deliver on our vision and goals when we now are facing a new era within our company. As our New business Areas & Implementation Manager you will be a part of our strategic growth team and their clear focus- find new business areas to be able to be more relevant, more often, to more customers. 

About the role 
As New Business Area & Implementation Manager you have the responsibility for leading the development and implementation of new business areas within the Strategic Growth department. You are responsible for evaluating and executing projects to increase new market share and revenue streams within our growing Strawberry universe. In collaboration with other parts of the organization you will lead the research, development and hands-on implementation of new business initiatives, including product and service expansion and new market development. In this role you will also be responsible for developing and managing relationships with potential partners and customers, and analyzing market trends and customer needs in order to identify new potential opportunities. 

This position will work closely with other key stakeholders including senior leadership, department heads and external partners to ensure success in the development and launch of the new business area. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Lead the research, development and implementation of new business initiatives 
  • Be hands on setting up and implement the business concept on site
  • Develop and implement processes and procedures for the new business area 
  • Develop and manage a budget for the new business area 
  • Manage initially the day-to-day operations of the new business area 
  • Monitor the performance of the new business area to ensure goals and objectives are being met 
  • Develop the strategy for the new business area, including setting objectives and goals for each area 
  • Coordinate with other key stakeholders to ensure successful launch of the new business area 
  • Establish and maintain relationships with external partners and vendors 

Other responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage relationships with potential partners and customers 
  • Monitor market trends in order to identify new growth opportunities
  • Communicate regularly with senior management about progress and results 
  • Create and implement policies and procedures to ensure efficiency and compliance 
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations 

Qualifications: 

  • 5+ years’ experience in service oriented businesses 
  • 5+ years’ experience in business development and new product/service launch 
  • Proven track record in developing and executing successful growth strategies 
  • Excellent leadership and project management skills 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
