Sales Manager

At Six is now looking for a new key member to the sales department focusing on the corporate, meetings and events business including group sales. The position offers a unique opportunity to play a big part in the further development of the award winning 5 star At Six Hotel within the corporate accommodation, meeting & events spaces and group opportunities in an international and creative environment. You will be a part of the sales team and reports directly to the Senior Sales Manager. To succeed in the role, it is required that you are business and results driven and that you enjoy working independently towards set goals. You work in a structured, committed way and you are driven by seeing the customer's needs and creating genuine customized solutions. We want you to have the ability to create good relationships and that you are driven by selling and closing in on your business meetings. Today, you probably already work with sales and you have a large established network of contacts with customers. We are happy to see that you have experience from a high-end segment. You will be a key player in contributing to the hotel's profit through development of new business opportunities and projects regarding the Corporate segment.

Job Description & Duties

  • In this role, you are responsible for identifying new opportunities and maximizing potential returns by initiating new sales, prospects and qualifying leads
  • Responsible for proactively managing and soliciting new corporate accounts, including groups and events related opportunities for At Six Hotel. 
  • New customer processing as well as development and implementation of the existing Corporate portfolio
  • Developing customer and agent relationships
  • Client visits to customer offices
  • Participate in sales blitzes, trade shows, workshops, host site inspections and develop sales activities
  • Follow up on all actions generated as a result of this sales activity ensuring that all revenue opportunities are maximized to their fullest
  • Develop sales plans and strategies (with the Senior Sales Manager) to meet or exceed established revenue and target goals

 

Requirements

  • Has extensive knowledge of the Corporate/ entertainment segment, preferably also from the agency side
  • Large established network of contacts
  • Experience in sales with documented good results
  • Good Swedish and English in speech and writing
  • Experience with Cenium (PMS system) is an advantage
