About the job:
You are the main leader of the kitchen team and you will be responsible for the daily operations in the kitchen. You are planning and scheduling according to activity and effectivity. You are in charge of department meetings as well as individual performance reviews. We would like you to be structured with a good sense of order but at the same time able to think outside the box. You work well under pressure and love a challenge.
The position of Kitchen Manager reports to the F&B Manager. It is a 100% full time position. It is mostly operative and working hours will include morning, evening and weekends.

We want you to:
Have at least 2 years of experience from large kitchens, preferably from
hotels
Have experience in menu engineering
Have good communication and co-operative skills
Be thorough, structured, independent and effective.
Have good knowledge of quality assurance/HACCP/ IK food
Have a good understanding of kitchen finances, calculations, hourly management, cost of goods, purchases, inventory management and inventory counting
