We are now looking for some amazing Conference & Events Financial Controller

 
Responsibilities
  • Great negotiation skills and sales coordination with small and big arrangements to achieve maximum revenue/profit potential while satisfying client needs
  • Possess the ability to see an opportunity to act fast and secure revenue of the Hotel
  • To work with proactive sales team to deliver meeting and events budgeted revenue 
  • To conduct site inspections on the property with potential clients 
  • To close prospects as confirmed bookings and maximise all revenue potential by upselling in all revenue producing areas
  • Strong selling and interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a fast paced environment 
  • Relationship building skills, with the ability to work across all functions and vertically at all levels of organisation and clients 
  • Good organizational, setting and managing priorities
  • Ensure all event data, invoices, contracts etc. flow through and are properly recorded in the event sheet 
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy with high standards for quality
  • Demonstrate planning skills with coordinating efforts among various departments 
  • Being active and interested in finding the best sustainable solutions that support Villa Copenhagen's image of conscious luxury
  • High level of professionalism and according to company policies, routines and standards 
  • Enthusiastic, self confident, proactive and self motivated 
  • Shows ambition to drive through initiatives 
  • Willing to adapt and take on new challenges and driven to continually improve
  • Reliable and works well individually as well as in a team 
  • Flexible approach to work and can work well under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Cenium knowledge and experience is a plus
  • Excellent command of the English language and Nordic language is a plus both written and verbal with all levels within the company and clients.
  • Ideally 1-2 years experience in previous event sales or coordinating experience in a hotel or venue
  • Your personality reflects the following:
