The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Maintaining the highest level of service and competence, making sure that guests are always served correctly and handled according to Espier’s service standards.
- Have extended knowledge on classic cocktails and spirits.
- Have good knowledge on beer and wine.
- Is responsible for having read and understood the work procedures in the bar.
- Must participates actively in departmental meetings.
- Be well acquainted with the law on the Responsible Service of Alcohol and obey this at all times.
- Have responsibility for not serving excessive amounts to our guests.
- Help keep the bar clean and tidy.
- Comply to the company’s procedures and policies. E.g. fire and safety procedures, clothing policy.
Any other duties delegated by the line manager.
Always at Clarion Hotel:
While being employed at Clarion Hotels you, together with your department head, have a responsibility to understand the hotels/departments three most important goals (Peakon, Loopon and economical goals). Together you will always do your best to reach these goals.
When we haven't been able to live up to the guests expectations, we should always correct the complaint and exceed the expectations of our guests. The person who gets the complaint is the owner and responsible to correct it or pass it on. You are authorized to deliver the little extra that's needed, and the head of your department will inform you about the local routines at your hotel.
You understand that your role is to “live and breathe” our vision- To increase the quality of life for guests and colleagues. In collaboration with your manager you will familiarize yourself on how we deliver service and guest experiences according to our vision.
Celebrating progress is very essential to us, and all employees are urged to contribute to ensure that no “wins” are left unattended. Feedback is an important part of this. You are always expected to give both positive and developing feedback to your colleagues when they have performed better than normal, or when you think they could have handled something differently.
