Lily Hospitality Group, eid av Aker ASA, skal i april 2022 åpne «Clarion Collection Hotel Kongsberg» med 121 rom på 1624 i Sølvparken i sentrum av Kongsberg. Hotellet er helt nytt og skal bli det naturlige førstevalget for de kvalitetsbevisste gjestene med en intim og koselig stemning, moderne hyggelige rom og enkel servering gjennom dagen.

Selskapet vil samstundes åpne en ny bar og restaurant med takterrasse frikoblet hotellet i byggets toppetasje med fantastisk utsikt over byen samt et velværesenter.

Kongsberg er en av Norges raskest voksende byer, kun ca. 1 time fra Oslo med tog eller bil, med et unikt teknologimiljø og direkte nærhet til fantastiske naturopplevelser.  Lily Hospitality Group er allerede tilstedeværende i byen gjennom bl.a. hotellet Quality Hotel Grand Kongsberg.

Do you want to be part of the kitchen team at one of Scandinavia's most beautiful spa hotels?

We are looking for a sous chef to our new and beautifull hotel in Kongsberg, Norway.

Our Italian resturant is on the 11th floor, With a nice view over Kongsberg

As a leader of the kitchen team, you will be working with various tasks and challenges but at the same time enjoy the freedom of creativity and self expression.  

Your efforts and attitude will be important in creating good guest experiences.

We are looking for a candidate who:

• Italian food
• Put the guest above everything else
• is a team player and works well with his/her colleagues 
• is reliable and loyal 
• service-minded and can handle stress
• positive, committed and has high expectations of her/himself
• flexible 
• punctual
• Has at least 3 years in similar position or
• 8 years experience as a chef and is ready to step up to sous chef
• speaks Norwegian and / or English

Sous Chef Job Responsibilities:

• Directs food preparation and collaborates with executive chef.
• Produces high quality plates, including both design and taste.
• Oversees and supervises kitchen staff.
• Assists with menu planning, inventory, and management of supplies.
• Ensures that food is top quality and that the kitchen is in good condition.
• Keeps stations clean and complies with food safety standards.
• Offers suggestions and creative ideas that can improve upon the kitchen’s performance.
• Prepare food according to our standards
• Trains new employees
• Orders food supplies
• Monitors and maintains kitchen equipment
• Solves problems that arise and seizes control of issues in the kitchen.
