Short about the job:

Lykke bar is a unique bar with strong focus on Nordic Heritage. We boast one of the biggest gin collections in Stockholm of which mostly Nordic. Our cocktail menu focuses on the North in general and we adore telling stories how we got to those cocktails. You as a bartender will own the bar and will give and show a lot of love and passion for your profession. Everything we do is genuine and we love to do our job. Everyday we are trying to improve what we do and we are open for the individual input. Together we are stronger than alone. 

Main Tasks:

• Responsible for high quality service with the goal of obtaining high guest satisfaction, sending out quality products, and work actively with sales;
• Being up to date with the department's goals and objectives and work everyday to maintain those goals;
• Keeping the good spirit and motivation up within the whole team;
• Responsible for ordering and partially responsible for stock taking;
• Responsible for your own cashier;
• Keeping the bar clean and in good condition at all times.

Tasks and responsibilities

• Responsible for maintaining an outstanding service level in the bar according to the set standards;
• Assuring that all drinks leaving the bar are spot on and according to the set standard;
• Assuring that colleagues will follow those standards;
• Responsible for a good working climate and that guests are always happy and returning;
• Responsible for reporting defects or points of improvement to the management;
• Responsible for maintaining reservations in the bar and that they are updated in the booking system;
• Responsible for assuring that the opening and closing procedures are followed and updated in case of changes;
• Responsible for keeping the bar clean and in good condition at all times;
• Be updated on guest feedback and if necessary be part of the think tank to improve service;
• Co-responsible for monthly stock taking;
• Responsible for following the cashier procedures and a balanced cashier at the end of the shift;
• Co-responsible for developing the drinking concept together with the bar and restaurant manager;
• Be up to date with current bar trends, new spirits, and have a good knowledge and understanding of (nordic) gin and other spirits;
• Co-responsible for obtaining the hotels environmental goals;

• Always on time before the shift on the floor in the correct uniform;

You are/have:

• An absolute bar enthusiast and willing to grow in the bar industry;
• Having a great self confidence and take ownership;
• Been working at least three years in excellent (hotel) bars;
• Preferably been travelling and/or working abroad for some time;
• Genuine and honest person;
• Not been taught hospitality, but born with it!
• Always in for developing to improve, and becoming a leader in the industry;
• A king/queen in telling stories and entertaining our guests;
• Flexible in working hours (weekends, late hours, evening only);
• Able to keep calm and the overview in nearly all situations;
• An absolute respect for other people and could not care less about gender, religion, sexual preferences, culture, handicap etc.; 
• Always an example ambassador for the hotel and restaurant in and out of the job, including on social media;
• Always maintaining a good working atmosphere and motivate your co-workers;
