In that sense, we are looking for a person who knows what it means to be there with the guests, not just by the guests, and someone who dares to poke the bear on 5-star service and to be a first mover in new ways of working in a Front of House. 

We also look for:

• Minimum of 2 years of leader experience from the industry in a similar role
• You either speak one of the Scandinavian languages or English
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience of working with Cenium or other hotel booking systems is an advantage

Responsibilities:

• Managing day-to-day operations and being the shift leader responsible for the checklist and delegation of the day's tasks
• Maintaining high visibility in the Courtyard 
• Being the responsible person on sight in the absence of the department manager
• Ensuring that the team delivers quality service, standards and meeting the expectations of the customers on a daily basis
• Ensuring that the team reaches its goal on guest satisfaction measurements 
• Complete overview of upcoming VIP guests as well as general overview of all guests
• Coordinated and supervised execution and delivery of personalized and complementary services to VIP guest rooms
• Overall responsible for following up unpaid bills

In addition to the above, the Guest Service Supervisor is responsible that the departments responsibilities below are handled in a well manner. 

• Handling phone calls, emails and our guests’ chat
• Preparing guest lists
• Planning guests’ stay and following up with guests before arrival to ensure a seamless experience at check-in and during their stay
• Welcoming guests and being a host at check-in
• Ensuring guest requests are followed up and followed through
• Ensuring payments are made and followed up in a timely manner
• Following up with guests after departure
• Handling feedback from guests, both oral and written
• Ensuring good and swift communication within the team and between departments 
• Always up to date on what to do in Copenhagen as well as open restaurants to recommend to guests
• Making sure all actions are in line with our brand values
